JOSIAHKIDS APPOINTS SIX NEW BOARD MEMBERS

Raising The Next Generation of Service-Minded Leaders!

ATLANTA, January 3, 2023 –  JosiahKids Inc. announced the unanimous appointment of six new members to its board of directors effective January 1, 2023. With the complex challenges facing our youth, and the fragility of a society in crisis, we could not be more pleased to welcome to our board of directors, leaders who are first and foremost stakeholders and friends of the organization. These leaders each understand the value and urgency of our work. We are confident that their shared knowledge, collective and individual contributions will help the organization refine its strategic plan, increase impact, and help shape the next phase of our growth journey.

There are not enough kind words we could say of the four board members rolling off the board, and the four continuing in service. Their pioneer spirit has given our young organization the strongest possible lift it could get through the most important and foundational years of our existence. They have served with excellence, and given so generously of their time, knowledge, and resources. Their thought leadership has helped the organization stay on mission, navigated us through risks during a tough pandemic, and kept our doors open when so many could not.

Through these incredible leaders, JosiahKids has grown by 400% (11 to 46 students), added police presence to increase security for our students and staff, funded a quality fitness and personal finance curriculum, and expanded our reach from the simple neighborhood classroom in Buford, Georgia, to a global presence that inspires young leaders through our Annual Youth Leadership Awards Ceremony—The Buford Harvest. We cannot thank them enough!

Continuing In Service - JosiahKids (2023).png

We look to the future full of faith and optimism, believing that both our new and continuing board of directors will help JosiahKids realize our vision of raising a community of virtuous service-minded leaders, committed to investing their acquired success into their own communities and spheres of influence.

Since it is so likely that children will meet cruel enemies, let them at least have heard of brave knights and heroic courage. Otherwise you are making their destiny not brighter but darker

C. S. Lewis

If I could relive my life, I would devote my entire ministry to reaching children for God

Dwight L. Moody

Since we believe that only by following Christ in the obedience of faith can a child be saved for eternity, escape the torments of hell, and enjoy the delights of heaven, it is unloving and cruel not to teach him the way. When I look at my three sons in love, I say, "O Christ, let me not be delinquent in bringing them with me to glory"

John Piper
