Who We Are
JosiahKids has grown from a simple neighborhood classroom with eleven students, into a character building, youth development nonprofit organization shaping the lives of the next generation of service-minded leaders. We serve children, youth, and families of all backgrounds with programs and services which build spirit, mind, soul and body. Our mission is to utilize various youth development enrichment programs, to help educate, empower, and equip young students and teens in the areas of faith, leadership, community service, and the arts.

Our Vision
We envision a world where a community of virtuous service-minded leaders are committed to investing their acquired success into their own communities and spheres of influence.
BIBLICAL EDUCATION

Faith
Our young people need help navigating God's world and God's word. We offer a unique approach that combines depth with simplicity, passion, and clarity. Our classes are designed to help families prioritize equipping their children with a solid biblical foundation. We believe in building a brick-by-brick foundation for each student, starting with the basics of locating a verse in the Bible and progressing to critical truths of approaching God with reverence, and growing as a true follower and disciple of Jesus. We believe that our work is incomplete until our students have received a hands-on spiritual formation that can be fully lived out and applied in true obedience to the Living God.
"So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed JESUS." —Luke 5:11
LEADERSHIP AND DEVELOPMENT

Leadership
At JosiahKids we are passionate about developing dynamic leaders out of our community of students. Our leadership component is designed to help young students develop the skills and qualities necessary to become servant leaders in their schools and communities. We offer educational workshops and classes that cover: fundamentals of leadership, mentoring, self-awareness, personal growth and development (goal setting, becoming a good reader, discovering purpose, attitude, managing finances, nurturing healthy relationships, and how to design and build a life of meaning). Every year JosiahKids partners with various community leaders, professionals, and experts who serve as guest speakers and mentors to inspire and offer guidance to our young promising leaders.

PERFORMING ARTS

Creative Expression
Our performing arts component serves as a bridge to the world and the culture we aim to influence. We combine faith, character, and values to help students express their joy in God while reaching those searching for peace through contemporary choreography, spoken word, acting, and diversified movement. Our program encourages students to break down barriers that separate, divide, and hinder, while striving to reconnect with their truest selves as God's image bearers.
